I Love To See The Temple

One of my goals for this Semester has been to attend the Temple once a week. As I have stuck to this goal, I have seen the blessings FLOOD into my life.
THIS IS THE HOUSE OF THE LORD!
I am so grateful to live in a town so close to so many Temples! This is a blessing that I will not take for granted.
There is no better way to start a day. :)

Hiking Mount Olympus

The roommates and I decided it was time for a hike. Even though I am the worst hiker ever, I still love it.
To Mount Nebo we went.
Nicole, sportin her all black gear.
Me, Mckay, Ryan, Alex, Ally Boo Boo, Chris & Candace
Steph, Mckaykay, Nicole
What a view!
Halfway Up!
Minus the fact that Utah air is meant to suffocate poor Floridians like myself, the squad and I had a swell time.

Bittersweet Tradition

Emily and Briana are two of my all time favorite people in this world. We've all just been reunited here in Provo, only to say goodbye again. Miss Briana has decided to travel through Europe on Study Abroad this semester. Such a punk! Thankfully we got the chance to carry out our Hike the Y tradition with a feast at Zupas afterwards. These ladies are the best!

Mount Timpanogos Temple

Today the Goon Squad and I did some much needed catching up. The only one missing was Heather. :( In order to avoid the long waits at the Provo Temple we went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple. I love my goons!

A Polluted Lake

Today was a day on the waters of Utah Lake. Only after the day was done, did I find out that this lake was polluted. Yikes! I thought the water looked kinda funny... Our roommate Brooke invited Nicole and I to go with her fam and a few friends.

Nicole and I loved reminiscing on our Lake Dates back in the big FL! We hope to have many more in the near future, just not on this lake!

Lake Tahoe

To start off our day, the crew got up early to drive up the winding roads leading to Lake Tahoe. We arrive and the first glimpse I get is this. Pretty good, eh? I could get used to this.
The water was freezing and the sand was super grainy. So different from the beaches and lakes back home.
Cousin Shot :)
Rylee Roo caught a little fish. Not quite sure if it was dead before or after the catching... but it kept her quite entertained. Her and Ryan thoroughly enjoyed taunting Elysse with it until it was thrown as far into the lake as possible. Some say poor Elysse, I say poor fish.
There's something in the wiring of boys that doesn't allow them to sit and enjoy a view for more than five minutes so of course these two goons went and bought themselves a little styrofoam football to throw around and prove their manliness.
Sunshine and sand are always a good combo. <3
Since this was only the morning portion of our day we had to head out early, but not before I captured this awesome shot. G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. Lake Tahoe hasn't seen the last of me yet!

Finds at the Farmers Market

Nothing is better than perusing through the Farmers Market on a Saturday morning. Besides finding some great steals and trying some out of this world food, we also left one lucky boy with some phone digits. ;) Here's a few of our fabulous finds...
 Fresh Peaches
 Leather Arm Candy
 Freshly Baked Mini Pies
Super funky art made out of doo-dads and what-ya-ma-call-its
 More funky stuff
 And even more funky stuff
Honey Sticks 25 cents each :D
 Handmade Perfume Bottles
Homemade Colognes and Perfumes
Wrap around Indian Skirts that I LOVE!
 Fresh Bread
 Kianna with the digits ;)
More artsy stuff
Uke inspiration, I want a pink one sooo bad!
Jewelry made out of recycled items, the mannequin is sportin a necklace made out of old camera bulbs while other rings and bracelets are made out of stamps and other clever creations. So creative!
This guy was one of my faves. He has his own business called Rooney Lettering, where he creates custom wedding invitations, cards, etc. Such a fun concept!
More fun Rooney Lettering
Rooney made me custom bookmarks, and it only cost me a dollar. I love the Farmers Market <3
To finish off the day I had to purchase some fresh Limeade. The Farmers Market hasn't seen the last of me yet!
